AquaNeat (2.5 Gallons) Aquatic Labeled Glyphosate. AquaNeat is a non-selective weed and grass control for edging, turf renovation, spot treatment, aquatic sites, landscape plantings, nurseries, roadsides, schools, farmsteads, shelter belts and many other approved uses. An essential tool for the manager responsible for weed control in and around ponds and lakes as well as weeds and grass in landscape and renovation areas. Labeled for both aquatic and terrestrial use. Non-selective weed and grass control.
Labeled for both aquatic and terrestrial weed and grass control use. Ideal for edging, spot treatment, turf renovations, aquatic sites and many other approved uses. Controls over 200 tough weeds, grass and brush species including the roots. Tightly binds to soil particles.
Reseed immediately or after 7 days if tillage is necessary. Avoid contact of herbicide with foliage, green stems, exposed non-woody roots or fruit of crops, desirable plants and trees because severe injury or destruction may result. A low-odor formulation, AquaNeat can be applied without raising unnecessary concerns over pesticide applications. This product is generally rain-fast in 6-8 hours, therefore, less of a concern about weather interference. When renovating turf, you can reseed immediately.
However, renovation tillage should be delayed for 7 days to allow translocation of the herbicide to occur. Use AquaNeat to edge around trees, shrubs and along fencelines to eliminate damage from mechanical equipment. Also ideal for spring bermudagrass release, AquaNeat controls many winter annual weeds and grasses. In aquatic areas, AquaNeat controls weeds that have emerged above the water line. This product does not control plants that are submerged.
There is no restriction on the use of treated water for irrigation, recreation or domestic purposes. AquaNeat has favorable environmental characteristics; it is broken down by microbial degradation. AquaNeat has no residual soil activity and is not absorbed by plant roots. AquaNeat binds tightly to soil particles and is non-volatile. This product can be used for wildlife habitat restoration and management areas.
This product, a water-soluble liquid, mixes readily with water and nonionic surfactant to be applied as a foliar spray for the control or destruction of many herbaceous and woody plants. This product moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact to and into the root system. Visible effects on most annual weeds occur within 2 to 4 days but on most perennial brush species may not occur for 7 days or more. Extremely cool or cloudy weather following treatment may slow the activity of this product and delay visual effects of control.
Visible effects are a gradual wilting and yellowing of the plant which advances to complete browning of above-ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts. Unless otherwise directed on this label, delay application until vegetation has emerged and reached the stages described for control of such vegetation under the "Weeds Controlled" section of this label. Unemerged plants arising from unattached underground rhizomes or root stocks of perennials or brush will not be affected by the spray and will continue to grow. For this reason best control of most perennial weeds or brush is obtained when treatment is made at late growth stages approaching maturity. Always use the higher rate of this product per acre within the recommended range when vegetation is heavy or dense. Do not treat weeds or brush under poor growing conditions such as drought stress, disease or insect damage, as reduced control may result. Reduced results may also occur when treating weeds or brush heavily covered with dust. Reduced control may result when applications are made to any weed or brush species that have been mowed, grazed or cut, and have not been allowed to regrow to the recommended stage for treatment. Rainfall or irrigation occurring within 6 hours after application may reduce effectiveness. Heavy rainfall or irrigation within 2 hours after application may wash the product off the foliage and a repeat treatment may be required. Approximate use rate: 1 - 6 oz per gallon of water. See label for specific use rates. Glyphosate N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine, isopropylamine salt.Contains 5.4 lb per gallon glyphosate, isopropylamine salt 4 lb per.
