Ballast Herbicide (1 Gallons) (Imazapyr, Flumioxazin). Ballast Herbicide is a great product for use where long-lasting, bare-ground control is required. It is a great stand alone product or used as a tank mix partner, and with two modes of action, helps control herbicide resistant species. For non-selective total vegetation control on roadsides, highway medians, railroad crossings, roads, improved roadside areas, gravel shoulders, industrial an utility plant sites, utility substations, petroleum tank farms, pumping installations, storage areas, above ground pipelines, railroad beds, and railroad yards where bare ground is desired. Do not spray close to shrubs or desirable plants.

Keep double the dripline away from trees. Ballast herbicide has a tendency to spread. If you spray a 6 inch band, you may end up with a 12 - 18 inch band of bare ground. Approximate use rate: 1-1.5 qts per acre.
