New longer-lasting Rezilon herbicide provides a unique solution for pre-emergence control of a broad range of grass and broadleaf weeds, including ALS-, ACCase-, triazine- and glyphosate-resistant species. Rezilon is available for use in established bahiagrass and bermudagrass fields. The unique chemistry in Rezilon features a cellulose-biosynthesis inhibitor as its active ingredient. Easy-to-use, Rezilon features a low use rate and when applied with a contact herbicide such as Rely 280, the mixture provides initial burndown of emerged weeds and extended residual control. A long-residual pre-emergent liquid herbicide containing 19.05% indaziflam.
Designed to control annual grass and broadleaf weeds in established bermudagrass and bahiagrass pastures and hayfields. RezilonĀ® (indaziflam) herbicide provides better hay quality by controlling summer and winter annual broadleaf weeds and grasses. It is designed to protect desirable grasses and control the unwanted grasses that grow in hayfields, non-irrigation ditch banks, fire breaks, and any sites managed for hay.
It also helps manage annual grasses in perennial grass hay fields, a quality few pre- or post-emergence herbicides can maintain. This benefits the entire herbicide market and the prime hay-growing landscape.
For year-round control of broadleaf and annual grass weeds, RezilonĀ® is applied in both late summer and late winter. Applications made immediately after a cutting in August or September will help provide pre-emergence control of fall-emerging weeds, while applications made in January or February will provide pre-emergence control of spring-emerging weeds. Overall, the herbicide controls more than 60 broadleaf and annual grass weeds, including species that have developed herbicide resistance, such as ryegrass.
