Beyond Herbicide (1 Gallon) -Clearfield Production System. The answer to many weed problems that have plagued rice, wheat, sunflower and canola fields can be found in Beyond herbicide. As part of the CLEARFIELD Production System, Beyond provides superior contact and residual control of key grass and broadleaf weeds in all these crops. Beyond is registered to help with red rice escapes in varieties and hybrids of CLEARFIELD rice.
In CLEARFIELD wheat, Beyond is the solution for previously uncontrolled weeds, such as jointed goat grass, and suppresses feral rye. In CLEARFIELD sunflowers, Beyond provides control of troublesome weeds such as marshelder and cocklebur. In CLEARFIELD canola, Beyond provides control of two of the most economically damaging weeds, wild mustard and pigeon grass. CLEARFIELD Wheat: Scout Clearfield Wheat fields in the fall. Target fall Beyond applications if grasses are emerged. If winter annual grasses have not emerged, delay Beyond application until late winter or early spring.Approximate use rate: 4-6 ounces per acre. It is recommended to use Nitro-Surf Nitrogen and Surfactant mix at recommended rates. See label for specific use rate. Target Fall Beyond applications if grasses are emerged. Beyond Rate and Additives: Fall application: 4.0 ounces per acre + NIS and N fertilizer source.
Spring application: 4 ounces per acre + NIS and N fertilizer source. For improved weed control in 2-gene winter wheat, a COC or MSO may be substituted for NIS. Do not use COC or MSO on CLEARFIELD wheat varieties that do not possess 2-gene tolerance.
Increasing UAN volume from 2.5% up to 20 to 50% v/v in winter wheat can improve grass weed performance. Tankmixes: Beyond may be tank mixed with growth regulators (Clarity, Banvel, 2,4-D, Starane) for improved BL weed control. Do not tank mix with SU herbicides (Amber, Ally, Finesse, others). CLEARFIELD Sunflower: Beyond Rate: 4.0 ounces per acre.
Only 1 application per season. Required Herbicide Additives: Nonionic surfactant 1 quart per 100 gallons (0.25 % v/v) AND Nitrogen Based Fertilizer 28%, 32%, 10-34-0:2.5 gal/100 gallons (2.5 % v/v), AMS: 12 - 15 pounds per 100 gallons.
Application Method: Ground or Air: Apply in 10 - 20 gallons of water per acre with ground application and > 5 GPA by air. Spray pressure: 20 - 40 psi by ground.Use higher volume and pressure if dense weed pressure or heavy crop residue (no-till fields). Always use flat fan or similar nozzles with ground applications. CLEARFIELD Rice: Use Beyond after 2 applications of Newpath, or Clearpath followed by Newpath as an effective red rice rescue treatment. Apply Beyond from rice tillering to panical initiation (green ring) on CL rice hybrids or from rice tillering to 14 days after panical initiation on CL rice varieties.
Apply Beyond at 5 ounces per acre + COC at 1% v/v Post. Always read and follow label directions.
