MSM 60 Herbicide (16 oz.) Generic Manor Herbicide Controls Broadleaf Weeds

Not for Sale to: AZ, CA (due to regulations). Alligare MSM 60 Herbicide - 16 oz. Active Ingredient: Metsulfuron Methyl - 60.0% Alligare MSM 60 Herbicide is specially formulated to provide post-emergent control of broadleaf weeds in vegetation, non-crop industrial sites, forestry, and in and around roadsides and railways. Alligare MSM 60 Herbicide contains metsulfuron-methyl as its active ingredient which is highly effective in killing broadleaf weeds and some annual grasses.

It also suppresses some types of broadleaf weeds and grasses in conifer plantations. MSM 60 Herbicide is a broad-spectrum herbicide that kills more than 100 species of weeds and brush including clover, dandelion, mustard, sowthistle, tansy, dogfennel, aspen, cottonwood, elm, oaks, spruce, and willow. It may be used in forestry, vegetation control in and around railways or roadsides, and non-crop industrial sites. This herbicide offers versatility because it is an excellent tank-mix partner to other products or can simply be mixed with water. Convenient and easy to apply plus, it is cost-saving and economical with its low use rates. Targets: Broadleaf Weeds and Brush/Woody Species. Use: Non-crop industrial sites, forestry, and vegetation control in and around roadsides/railways.

Application: Apply 2 to 4 oz per acre. Transplant the following planting season. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS Fill the tank ΒΌ to 1/3 full of water. While agitating, add the required amount of Alligare MSM 60.

Continue agitation until the Alligare MSM 60 is fully dispersed, at least 5 minutes. Once the Alligare MSM 60 is fully dispersed, maintain agitation and continue filling the tank with water.

Alligare MSM 60 should be thoroughly mixed with water before adding any other material. As the tank is filling, add tank mix partners (if desired) then add the necessary volume of nonionic surfactant. If the mixture is not continuously agitated, settling will occur. If settling occurs, thoroughly re-agitate before using.

Metsulfuron Methyl spray preparations are stable if they are pH neutral or alkaline and stored at or below 100 degrees F. If Alligare MSM 60 and a tank mix partner are to be applied in multiple loads, pre-slurry the Alligare MSM 60 in clean water prior to adding to the tank. This will prevent the tank mix partner from interfering with the dissolution of the Alligare MSM 60. SPRAYER CLEANUP Spray equipment must be cleaned before Alligare MSM 60 is sprayed.

Follow the cleanup procedures specified on the labels of previously applied products. If no directions are provided, follow the six steps outlined below. Before Spraying Crops Other Than Wheat, Barley, Fallow, Pasture or Rangeland: Drain tank; thoroughly rinse spray tanks, boom, and hoses with clean water.

Loosen and physically remove any visible deposits. Fill the tank with clean water and 1 gal of household ammonia for every 100 gallons of water.

Flush the hoses, boom, and nozzles with the cleaning solution. Then add more water to completely fill the tank. Circulate the cleaning solution through the tank and hoses for at least 15 min.

Flush the hoses, boom, and nozzles again with the cleaning solution, and then drain the tank. Remove the nozzles and screens and clean separately in a bucket containing cleaning agent and water. Rinse the tank, boom, and hoses with clean water. If only Ammonia is used as a cleaner, the rinsate solution may be applied back to the crop(s) listed on this label. Do not exceed the maximum labeled use rate.

If other cleaners are used, consult the cleaner label for rinsate disposal instructions. If no instructions are given, dispose of the rinsate on-site or at an approved waste disposal facility. WEEDS CONTROLLED Apply when weeds are less than 4 tall or in diameter and are actively growing. See specific directions for each weed type.
